South Africa Collectible Silver Coin Big Five II Leopard 2023 5 oz of Pure Silver 0,999

The fourth issue of the Big Five II Series, this 2023 Leopard release marks the first ever 5 oz silver Leopard in the history of the program. Struck from 0,999 pure silver with a strictly limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide, the coin continues the celebrated wildlife tribute by the South African Mint. The obverse features an impressive close-up of an adult leopard’s head, accompanied by the inscriptions SOUTH AFRICA and BIG FIVE 2023 as well as the South African coat of arms. The reverse presents the distinctive split-portrait design characteristic of the series: two halves of a leopard’s face that combine to form a complete image when placed together, while multiple coins create the illusion of an entire pack. At the center appear the denomination FIVE RAND, the weight 5 oz, and the fineness Ag 999. Each coin is delivered in an original wooden box with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
